Our Goals

Our goals include raising enough money to renovate an existing structure near downtown Sullivan to include a range of services that are currently not available. These services include:

  • Emergency housing for those that are experiencing homelessness.

  • Community reentry support for individuals released from incarceration

  • Men’s Sober Living Facility

  • Trauma-informed care and counseling services

  • Job readiness and life skills training

  • Mentorship and peer support

Help Us Plan

We do have a building in mind, and we are already in the process of asking our county to gift it to us.

We want to the county to allow us the chance to revitalize the old Sullivan jail into something that can help our community take time to care for those who are needing a hand up in life. But we need to show them we can make this project happen.

This project will not be possible without the support of the community. We need to show Sullivan we can work together to make our town a better place. If you are interested in helping with this project here are some ways:

Donations** This is our key to expanding our staff and funding the renovation process

  • Financial Support and or pledges for funds

  • pledges for supplies

  • If / when we have a space we will need to furnish it with items necessary for meeting all of ones needs.

  • Food donated for volunteers during peak renovation times

Verbal support - Tell the county why YOU think our project should be supported

  • Write a letter of support (email us, the commissioners, or drop a letter off to us)

  • Call a county official

  • Speak at a county government meeting

Volunteers - We will be depending on volunteers to help with the renovations

  • Skilled workers when it comes to renovations. If you feel you have a skill that would help with this project please reach out to us. If you are willing to sign a pledge to help us by offering your time and skill please fill out the form below. Or you can stop by Recovery Cafe and pick one up.
